Unique safaris in Luangwa, Kafue and Bangwelu<\/h2>\n

The pristine wilderness makes Zambia<\/strong> to the ultimate Untamed destination! One of the ‘wildest’ places on earth can be found in North Luangwa<\/strong> National Park, known for large herds of buffalo and herds of lions. Only a few tour companies have access to this unique area and then only for walking safaris. Adjacent South Luangwa<\/strong> is more open but no less unique with rare inhabitants such as the native Thornicroft giraffe and Cookson’s wildebeest. Luambe National Park<\/strong> is located between the two parks, which closely resembles its neighbors in terms of fauna, with the added bonus of many hippos. In the Bangwelu swamps<\/strong> , often called the ‘mini-Okavango delta’, you can see the rare shoebill as well as the black lechwe. The red variety of this swamp antelope can be found in Kafue<\/strong> – the oldest and largest game reserve in Zambia – with horse antelope and the ‘big five’. The Liuwa Plains<\/strong> are unique in that tens of thousands of wildebeest and zebra pass through here every year, the second largest ‘migration’ in Africa. On the border with Zimbabwe, past the town of Livingstone<\/strong> , Zambia offers an even more unique spectacle: the Victoria Falls<\/strong> , the largest waterfalls in the world.<\/p>\n
