Follow the course of the Zambezi from <strong>Victoria Falls<\/strong> through <strong>Lake Kariba<\/strong> and <strong>Matusadona <\/strong>to <strong>Mana Pools<\/strong>. Along the way, you can take a panoramic helicopter flight over the falls, take a sunset cruise on the upper Zambezi River, raft through rugged rapids just after the falls, canoe on Lake Kariba or between sandbars of Mana Pools, and go on safari on foot or by 4WD in Zimbabwe&#8217;s true wilderness. You can do this equally well in <strong>Hwange<\/strong>, and really go off-grid on a safari in remote <strong>Gonarezhou<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3>Ancient cultures<\/h3>\n<p>Remains of ancient civilizations can be found in several places. The ruins of <strong>Great Zimbabwe<\/strong> are mysterious and impressive.
