From the modern city of <strong>Reykjavik<\/strong> to vast landscapes; after every bend there is another spectacular view. In the summer the days are endless and in the winter season the Northern Lights illuminate the sky. Natural hot springs bubble up and form a steaming river, geysers shoot up unexpectedly, glaciers as far as the eye can see and lots of waterfalls make Iceland a true paradise for nature lovers. Iceland is a must for bird lovers. Many bird species nest here and a large population of puffins hide in the rocks of<strong> Vik<\/strong> and<strong> Borgerfj\u00f6rdur<\/strong> . Icelandic horses and sheep graze all over the mountains.
