Bright yellow centenarian trams rattle their way up steep cobbled streets. In the labyrinthine and bustling <strong>Alfama<\/strong> district at the foot of <strong>S\u00e3o Jorge&#8217;s<\/strong> Moorish castle, elegant terraces are set beneath ornate balconies filled with bougainvillea. <strong> Lisbon<\/strong> offers an abundance of museums, galleries and beautiful buildings. In addition, the city is known for its vibrant culinary scene.
