The largest lake in the country is lake V\u00e4nern with countless islands including the Lur\u00f6 archipelago where a varied landscape with sandy beaches can be found. The landscape changes on the coast, north of <strong>Gothenburg<\/strong> to the Norwegian border. Here lies the Bohusl\u00e4n archipelago with more than 8,000 islands and creates a unique and beautiful coastline. Well worth a visit is the part of the <strong>Kosterhavet National Park<\/strong> and the Koster Islands.
