Vast sand dunes and coastal swamps alternate with small islands and shallow coastal waters. Into this natural park in<a href=\"\/?continent_category=mauritanie\"><strong>Mauritania, e<\/strong><\/a>stablished in 1976 and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is a true bird&#8217;s paradise, especially in our winter months when many bird species from Europe visit this vast area. Spot millions of migratory, water and shore birds in one of the most important areas in the world for breeding birds and migratory waders.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to numerous birds, see various types of sea turtles, a colony of monk seals, jackals and desert foxes.
