Not only gazelles, but also the rare <strong>Arabian oryx<\/strong> runs freely over <strong>Sir Bani Yas,<\/strong>the largest natural island in the <strong>United Arab Emirates.<\/strong> A fence has been placed around the habitat of giraffes, hyenas and cheetahs, but with more than 2,400 hectares they still have a spacious shelter.<\/p>\n<p>Yet the gazelles enjoy the most freedom, for them fences or barbed wire, the waves limit their territory. Not yours, by the way. Because with a cruise or in a kayak, the muddled mangrove forests around the island are best to discover. And also the animals that are not at your front door, dolphins and sea turtles, can be admired here.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The hustle and bustle of downtown Abu Dhabi is gone.
