Water plains, river forests and Baobab trees characterize the landscape. The Linyanti river area is bisected by a number of large rivers, Kwando, Linyanti and the ChoberiVier. Because of the many waters, large numbers of wild animals live here in the soggy marshes and on the wooded islands with wide grasslands.
