An elongated peninsula winds south off the coast of Belize. A lovely place with sandy beaches, swaying palm trees, restaurants, bars and fantastic hotels: Placencia<\/strong> is the name of this earthly Paradise.<\/p>\n On the east side you will find the Caribbean sea <\/strong>with reefs begging to be discovered by snorkelers or divers. The whale shark is also seen here, mainly with a full moon, between April and July.
