The highlands, called <strong>Paramos,<\/strong> have specific endemic flora, including the frailejon. Take a tour of the valleys and visit ancient glacial lakes and small typical Andean villages. Take the world&#8217;s tallest cable car from Merida and behold the Pico Bolivar, with its over 5,000 meters the highest peak in Venezuela.
