The park is home to more than 86 species of wildlife, including elephant, lion, zebra, giraffe, thick-fat, buffalo, oribi and waterbuck. Six different primates and more than 460 bird species are common. The surroundings of the park are home to the <strong>Karamojong<\/strong>, a nomadic tribe with many similarities to the Maasai in Kenya.<\/p>\n<h4>KARAMOJONG<\/h4>\n<p>The Karamojong lives near <strong>Mount Moroto<\/strong> and in the middle of <strong>Karamoja.<\/strong> The colourful tribe, known for their love of livestock, is a proud and unique people who still survive as pastoralists.
