Limpopo<\/strong> is the northernmost region of South Africa and borders Mozambique<\/a>, Zimbabwe<\/a> and Botswana<\/a>. It is a less visited region with beautiful scenery and beautiful game parks. Part of the Great Limpopo Transfrontier Park<\/a> is in South Africa. The northern part of the Kruger Park<\/a> is in Limpopo and you will also find the Waterberg biosphere<\/strong>, a stunning nature reserve with mountains, gorges, canyons, mountain rivers and the characteristic bushveld<\/em>. The area is largely malaria-free. There are several game reserves<\/em> with beautiful, small-scale lodges. It is pure wilderness far off the beaten track, with majestic baobab trees, a wide variety of stunning landscapes and the Big Five. <\/p>\n Limpopo also has a lot to offer outside the game parks. Exceptionally beautiful is the Magoebaskloof<\/strong> with one of the steepest mountain passes in South Africa.
