The Holiday Awards, also known as the Oscars of the Dutch travel industry, were presented on January 27th at Hart van Holland in Nijkerk. The award ceremony of these prestigious awards for peers, chosen by peers took place during the annual Travel Gala. This year, we were nominated in no less than three categories, namely Long Distance Travel, Adventure Holidays and Luxury Travel….<\/p>\n

The Travel Gala was sold out to the last seat and, with a record number of over 500 guests, the busiest gala ever attended. The venue was stylishly decorated and the atmosphere was great. Tom van Apeldoorn, Founder and Director of TravMedia, started with an opening speech after which the first awards were presented.<\/p>\n

The excitement mounted over dinner, and after the main course, the Best Adventure Holidays 2024 category came up. The tension could be cut with a knife when the words finally came out; Untamed Travelling is the winner of the award for Adventure Holidays 2024! Founder and Director Jozef Verbruggen and General Manager Joyce Janssen made their way to the podium to receive the award.<\/p>\n

The Untamed team in attendance was delirious. Together they posed for a photo with the award and toasted to this special victory. The rest of the evening was mostly devoted to celebrating this fine appreciation. After dessert, the party erupted with a performance by OG3NE and people continued to talk, toast and dance the night away.<\/p>\n
