Do you know your way around the United States, Canada and Alaska like no other and are you a commercially driven and experienced travel specialist / Travel Designer? Then we are looking for you!
As a Travel Designer North America, you will be (co-)responsible for putting together and selling custom trips to well-known and lesser-known destinations in the USA, Alaska and Canada.
Because you must be able to advise clients passionately about a destination, we expect you to have traveled, lived and/or worked in various parts of the United States and Canada and already have extensive experience putting together and selling travel. You will have personal consultations with clients to identify their needs and be able to put together a suitable travel program based on this information. You will be in contact with our local agencies for this purpose.
Good speaking and writing skills in Dutch and English are required. In addition, your computer skills are excellent and you have mastered at least MS Office programs Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Exact is a plus. On occasion, you will contribute to presentations and represent Untamed Travelling at trade shows and events.
We all work from home and are not tied to an office location. We are in contact with each other online through an integral telephone network, and in addition we communicate via Skype. We meet periodically for consultations and appointments with suppliers, for example at our office in Amsterdam-Zuid.
Note: Remote working outside the Netherlands is not an option.
